I would love to give them new learning experiences such as tapping maple sugar, edible hikes, foraging, identifying plants/bugs/birds, churning butter, woodworking, etc. The boys both have limitations when it comes to fine motor skills. Whether to end the suffering of an ailing chicken or to provide food for your family, I can cull and … Whether to end the suffering of an ailing chicken or to provide food for your family, I can cull and process your chickens or teach you how to do it humanely and painlessly.  I have been culling for about a decade and have culled my own flock, as well as helped several friends with theirs.  To me, it is a respectful process done in a spirit of gratitude and humbleness.  If you are putting down a dear, feathered friend, we can hold a ceremony.  If you are providing food for your family, we can prepare the carcass in various ways (whole, sections, parts, etc) and get it ready for oven or freezer.  lf you are interested in teaching the process to your family and children, we can look at the anatomical and physiological features.  Regardless of your intention, we will be considerate and thoughtful of the life that is ending.
